What Is a Flashcard?
A flashcard is a study tool featuring information on both sides to test your knowledge. It's widely used to aid memorization or learning of facts, vocabulary, concepts, or other information. One side usually offers a prompt, like a question, term, or problem, while the other side gives the corresponding answer or information. Essentially, it's a question and answer format that encourages understanding and simplifies information retention.
How to Create a Flashcard?
First, you need to create a deck where your flashcards will be stored. To do that, you need to click the "+" icon at the top right corner in the mobile app, or click "Create new deck" in the web version.
Second, you need to open your deck and click “Add cards”. You will see a text field divided into the Front side and the Back side. On the front side, you would usually write a question and on the back side - the answer.
To start learning flashcards, you need to go back to your deck and click “Study cards”.
