Updated over a week ago

Imagine your friend shares a study deck with you, but you want to make personalized tweaks without affecting the original. Or perhaps you want to create a new deck on the basis of the one you imported or created?

The Duplicate Deck feature offers flexibility in managing your study materials, whether its a shared deck, and imported one or you crafted it yourself.

How to duplicate a deck?

  1. Choose a deck you want to duplicate and go to its Settings menu.

  2. Scroll down to see "Duplicate deck" button and give it a click.

  3. Decide where you want the duplicated deck to reside. By default, it goes to "My Decks," but you can select another location if needed.

  4. Here you can also choose if you want to keep your learning progress or start anew in the duplicated deck.

Progress and other settings

  • Your new deck inherits all the settings from the original, maintaining consistency in your study experience.

  • Depending on your selection during duplication, cards in the new deck may retain or lose progress, giving you control over your study journey.

  • If your deck contains sub-decks structures, the entire hierarchy is duplicated, maintaining your organizational integrity.

With the Duplicate Deck feature, you can confidently tailor your study materials to suit your needs, whether it's personalizing content, sharing copies, or exploring new study strategies, like trying out different study algorithms without affecting your progress.
