Automatically create beautiful flashcards from your PDF files

Updated over 2 months ago

Manually creating flashcards is cool but of course may be very time consuming. What if you have an exam really soon and you don't want to waste all your time creating your flashcards instead of studying them? Well, there's a much quicker approach!

Importing a PDF file

Once you go to Create a new deck, you can see the Generate cards with AI button.

After you tap it, you'll be redirected to a new screen where you can see the Upload a document option. Just import or drag-and-drop the necessary PDF file to start the creation process.

Currently there is a limit of 50Mb per PDF file

After a few seconds you will see a screen where you can:

  • choose the new deck's name (or leave the automatically generated one)

  • select the pages you want to work with

By default, all pages are deselected. However, you can either choose only the necessary ones or slick Select all

Managing your flashcards

Once imported, you will see a screen separated into two parts. The left side will be your document preview, while the right one will show you your freshly created cards. So, what's next? There's two ways you can create your cards now:

  • Manually - select the necessary text from the page preview. You will see a pop-up menu where you can choose whether to create a regular text card or use the Cloze feature.

  • Auto-generate - let AI take care of creating new cards for you. You can also choose between creating regular text flashcards, Cloze flashcards or both.

All your new cards will appear on the right side of your screen, the latest one being on top.

If you need more cards, just tap Auto-generate again and again, until you have the necessary amount.

If you're not satisfied with the result, you can always choose to delete a card. Once finished organizing, click Save.

Currently only up to 20 cards can be created at once
