AnkiPro's library has more than 50.000 decks on a large number of topics. However, of course not everything can be covered. So in case you want to contribute and let all users of AnkiPro app study decks created by you, let's learn how can this be achieved.
How to Publish a Deck
When you created a deck that you want to publish, just go to it's Settings - you will see a 'Publish to the Library' option.
You will see two fields that you can customize:
change the deck's name
add a description for the your deck
We encourage you to fill these fields carefully as it will help your deck be discovered by more people.
Having filled the information and tapped "Submit for review", the deck will be now quickly reviewed by us.
You'll get notified on your e-mail once the review process is over (which won't take long, so please don't worry).
After passing the review your deck will be published to the Library right away!
Managing your Published deck
Here's what you can do after you've published a deck:
Unpublish. If you feel like you no longer want it to be available to other users of the app, you can just delete it from our Library.
See statistics. You can see the average rating, the number of downloads and studiers for your deck
Submit updates. If you need to add more cards, edit existing ones or delete cards that are no longer necessary. Once you make any edits, the deck will have to approved by us once again, but don't worry!
What types of decks are not supported:
Imported decks. To publish a deck it has to be created by you
Shared decks. If you publish a shared deck, the sharing access will be lost
Subdecks. Only main decks can be published
Decks with less than 75 flashcards in them. Please make sure you've filled them with enough material before publishing!
By following these guidelines, you can easily share your knowledge and contribute to the AnkiPro community. If you have any questions about the publication process, don't hesitate to reach us at [email protected]. Good luck!
